Aliens Invade Citi Field

Reports of extra terrestrials encounters are pouring in say officials.  Sightings took place yesterday during the  auto show at New York's Citi Field.  Strange creatures were seen moving through the crowd and performing ritual dances on platforms.

"They seemed to enjoy attention" said Jonathan Lin, a 32 year old guest who claims a life form with telescopic limbs and blinking lights on his or her torso befriended him and posed for photos.

There were no reported abductions or cavity probes.

Disco Mitzvah

Last night's event really blew us away! The ultra-glitzy Bar Mitzvah took place at New York's prestigious Pierre Hotel. The ballroom was transformed into a multi-tiered fantasy disco. Visuals included four of our gorgeous Silver Showgirl Disco Dancers, six Human Disco Balls, and our ever glamorous Silver Sequin Strolling Table. Oh yeah, Justin Bieber was there too. If you've never been to a Syrian Bar Mitzvah you haven't been to a party!

254 and no Botox!
Last night shoe designer Vanessa Noel hosted an intimate reading in honor of Marie Antoinette's 254th birthday. Esteemed author Susan Nagel read a passage from her new book Child of Terror: The Fate of Marie Antoinette's Daughter.

Every birthday party needs a birthday girl. Since the real Marie was missing her head we thought it best to send an elegant impersonator.

Naughty Kitch-Inn
The Oxygen Network is having a great year for fabulous larger-than-life ladies! After just recently providing 3 luscious drag queen Marissa Jaret Winokur impersonators, we were called on again to impersonate irreverent chef Blythe Beck to promote her new series The Naughty Chef at New York's Fashion week. I was astounded, said Mimi, pictured center "many people thought I actually was Blythe Beck, including a reporter from MSNBC!"

Have You Called Jenny?
Lopez that is. Please ask J-Lo how she liked the amazing showgirl looks we whipped up for her surprise 40th birthday last night. I thought they were quite special.

She's a Barbie Girl
Our fabulous client celebrated her 50th at the same time as Barbie!
Her Barbie theme fantasyland was expertly designed by Joseph Todd Events! Our drag queen Barbies served over-the-top glamour while our real-girl Barbies sported custom made replicas of the original Barbie's striped bathing suit.
The real hit of the evening was our pretty-in-pink Barbie Strolling Table!

"Every Girls Dream"

That's what Marissa Jaret Winokur exclaimed when she met her three drag queen lookalikes yesterday onstage in New York's City's Herald Square Park. The Hairspray star was there to promote her new show "Dance Your Ass Off".

Holy Cannoli!
Last night's wedding in Wading River NY was a lovely multiculti affair. In celebration of the groom's Scottish heritage they brought in authentic kilt-wearing bagpipe players. Man are those things loud!

The bride's Italian family decided to represent in style with our gorgeous Italian theme Strolling Table! She looks like she floated right off a spaghetti sauce label!

Blue Humor
It's not always easy to stand out at a trade show. InPro Corporation, which produces interior and exterior architectural products, had to make a splash at the AIA show in San Francisco. Lucky they called on us, attention getting is our specialty!

Inpro's website and promotional materials feature a quirky mascot: a faceless skinny blue man in a hardhat who resembles a Gumby-like lanky rubber toy. Our assignment? Bring the blue man to life!

Makeup was not an option, the character has no face! Luckily we had just the right person. Hector has been making and wearing fantasy costumes for years, most of which cover his face. When the designer and the performer are the same person there are multiple advantages. Most importantly: a perfect fit and no complaints about wearing something so odd and restrictive for a full day.

Things went so well that Inpro immediately booked us for three more shows!

English Class

Last night Screaming Queens Entertainment painted the town red, white, and blue at a British theme fundraiser and auction for the SEARCH Foundation thrown by ISES, The International Special Event Society.

Our ultra-regal Queen Elizabeth I Strolling Table commanded attention as "she" presented special auction items! Our sultry Sequin British Flag Ladies charmed guests into buying raffle tickets.

Every great party needs celebrity guests. We wrangled UK icons Scary Spice and AbFab's Patsy Stone. It takes a couple of drag queens to do these divas justice!

Wedding Ourselves!

Screaming Queens Entertainment is all over TV this month!

Whose Wedding is it Anyway on the Style Network:
Screaming Queens provided three dramatic Strolling Tables for an offbeat yet elegant wedding at the New York Public Library. That's right, the same location where Mr Big stood up Carrie Bradshaw!

My Fair Wedding with David Tutera on the WE Network:
A couple's fairy tale wedding was brought to life by our waltzing period characters as well as our lovely Marie Antoinette Strolling Table! While there were officially no drag queens at this one you can see in the photo that the boys wore makeup than the girls!

Mile High Club

The Tanger Outlet assigned Screaming Queens Entertainment to come up with a dramatic way to greet guests at their grand opening. We love an excuse to custom design something special. Feast your eyes on our new 8 foot high Tall Goddess Greeters. These statuesque showgirls are perfect greeters for festive over-the-top events!

Our Love Mentor!

Last night our New York Taxi Girls appeared at the Mentor Foundation's New York Inaugural Royal Gala at the Waldorf Astoria. It was packed with international VIP's including supermodel Paulina Porizkova, Queen Silvia of Sweden , and Prince Turki Bin Talal Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia. That was all fine and dandy but we were far more impressed by our favorite little potty mouth, to the ever lovable Dr. Ruth!

J-LO Shots!
Jennifer Lopez threw a huge birthday bash for hubby Marc Anthony at the Bowery Hotel. As part of her plan to create a glamorous Havana casino she chose our fab silver and white showgirl costumes to go with the theme.

I spotted a statuesque drag queen in the audience and was about to offer her a job when I realized that it was Kimora Lee Simmons. Wow, that woman sure is tall!

Screaming Queens Walk The Runway

This week's Project Runway features some of Screaming Queens' brightest stars: Sweetie, Sherry Vine, Acid Betty, Hedda Lettuce, and Miss Understood.

Hedda Lettuce
clashed with Suede over his awkward design.

Terri
turned Sweetie into a gorgeous fire goddess!

Blayne
whipped up a fantasy frock for Miss Understood that looked great but lacked proper construction and began to collapse. Hey, these guys had to whip up glamorous garments overnight, give 'em a break!

Korto's Asiapunk concoction for Acid Betty was a brilliant. Poor Betty was distraught when she discovered that we don't get to keep the outfits.

Bringing home the medal was Screaming Queens Alum Varla Jean Merman in Joe's sequin Pepto-pink bell bottom sailor suit! Just so ya' know, this was 50/50 collaboration. Varla used her knowledge of classic film wardrobe to conceive of the dress and Joe executed it perfectly.

Boston Tea-na Party
The roof of the Boston Taj Hotel was the perfect setting for last night's festive birthday party which featured our glamorous Marie Antoinette Strolling Table and New York's most amazing drag queen Tina Turner impersonator!

"Where do you put it?" asked a bold member of the Boston elite. "Wherever
I want to." said Tina with a sly look.

Lucy Ricardo left NYC for Connecticut
I can see why. It's quite green and lush, a nice change from the city where we are barely aware of the onset of spring. Last night we delivered some necessary glamor to a Greenwich CT benefit for Kids in Crisis.

Oo La La Sassoon!
I know, I know, that was the slogan for Sasson (jeans), not Sassoon (hair stylist) But he is still French! We appeared at a 1960's theme hair industry event for Intercoiffure, the worlds greatest hairdressers,
on Saturday evening. Vidal and I felt an instant attraction! Okay, I'm lying, but hey, I would do whatever it took to get him to do my hair!

Holy Matrimony Batman! It was a second wedding for both of them, she wasn't doing the wedding dress thing. It was an elegant yet casual affair at their stunning hideaway in Sagaponack... that's the Hamptons for you out-of-towners. Guests were greeted by our lovely Drag Queen Brides:

Divine in Nature

John Waters simply loved to film Divine, his drag queen femme fatale, in natural settings, and I can see why. The clash between the natural and artificial creations can be stunning.

We recently returned from a big bash in West Dover Vermont and it was quite exhilarating. In addition to appearances by drag queens Miss Understood and Epiphany we also got a chance to debut our dazzling new Blue Strolling Human Table:
