New Lovely Lady Looks!
Our bird ladies made their debut at Cipriani for the annual Artrageous Gala. It was a specacular dinner and and silent aution to raise money for Edwin Gould Services For Children. At $500-$1000 a head I'm sure they raised a good chunk of change even before they sold much art.
Look how purty:
Our collection of ensembles for real ladies (as opposed to us fake ladies) is growing and growing! Keep your eyes on this space for more genetic girl glamour!

Wig Out
Screaming Queens wig designer Perfidia made a name for herself in New York's club scene for her animated lip sync performance to underappreciated divas such as La Lupe, Yma Sumac, and Caterina Valente. In the 90's she created Perfidias Wig World located in both of Patricia Field's downtown boutiques, House Of Field and Hotel Venus.
If there's an edgy or avant garde project brewing, New York insiders know to call on Perfidia. She was brought on board for Boy George's Broadway show Taboo and she's currently working with Alan Cumming and Cyndi Lauper in the new controversial production of Threepenny Opera. Perfidia was key hair designer on the twisted TV show and upcoming film Strangers with Candy. Yes, she is the one responsible for Jerri Blank's bizarre coif... and many of mine!

Lucky Brand Jeans asked us to provide six authentic looking geisha girls for an in-store promotion at Bloomingdales. Although assignments like this call for real girls, it's our drag queen expertise that was required to create such a detailed look. The Screaming Queens Team went to work:
Mayouko: Head stylist, kimonos, makeup, hair ornaments
Perfidia: Wig design
Miss Understood: Hair logo design, production
Sequinette: production assistant
Whaddaya think:
Jaiko, Ayumi, Motoko

I Do... Love Diana Ross!
Connecticut's Wilton Riding Club will never be the same! Yesterday's wedding guests were treated to a very special performance by our 1960's era Diana Ross!
Miss Ross served up a snazzy medley including obscure gems like Diana's versions of Eleanor Rigby and Do You Know the Way to San Jose. If you haven't seen our 60's Diana you haven't seen a drag show!
